Time to enjoy the outdoors and get a good night’s sleep!
Hello! I am a mom of three energetic girls. They keep me busy. I tend to reminisce about my childhood during their life milestones. Sleepovers with my best friends are a highlight. Childhood moves fast and I want my girls to remember all the magical milestones, whether that be birthdays, holidays, cousin sleepovers or grandparent sleepovers. With Covid-19 hitting our world this past year, I had to think of a fun way to celebrate my oldest birthday. A little research and I found the “tent” idea. I quickly made four for her and her friends. They were a hit! My goal is to share this magical experience with my community in a time that has limited our children’s worlds.
Hi! My name is Ranae. I’m new to the team! I have 2 kiddos of my own. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I love this tiny tent movement and am so happy I get to be a part of the process!
Late summer I got a phone call from Pitched Mpls, they had an idea. That idea grew to me taking over their Tiny Tent business. It has been nothing but wonderful working with Pitched Mpls. They have been so kind and gracious and honestly some of the nicest people I have met. Business, for me, is all about relationships. I work with only the best.
In early 2020 my husband and I traveled to the Czech Republic to visit family. A close relative was playing on a Czech basketball team. One of his teammates was having a party set up for his daughter, tents. This was fascinating to me; I had never heard of such a thing in the States. Day two of our trip my husband was not feeling well, high fever, body aches and any other flu-like symptoms you could think of. You guessed it, he had what we now call Covid-19, but at the time it was not on Americans radar. We only know it was Covid-19 because when we went home I lost all smell and taste (which wasn’t a symptom yet). Italy was shutting down, airports were closing, at this point we didn’t know if we would get home. We made it home.
